FAQ
TV scores channel FAQ
What is a bar TV scores channel?
A live sports scores channel made for bars, with crisp, big-screen graphics. It shows up as one more input, called Scores, on the video system you already have, so any TV in the building can tune to it.
Do we need new TVs or new wiring?
No. The channel uses the TVs and wiring you already have and works with a video matrix or AV-over-IP system. No video distribution yet? Tri-State AV designs and installs video matrix and TV systems too.
What does the scores channel show?
A game grid with 4 to 12 games per page, live games first, with color team badges, records, rankings, network and status. It adds field and diamond graphics, win probability, a favorite team panel, your specials panel and a scrolling score line, plus pages for the game of the night, scoring plays, standings and college rankings.
Does it show betting odds?
Only if you want it to. The odds board with spread, total and moneyline is optional, marked for entertainment only and 21+, and it can be turned off.
Does it work with the LED sports ticker?
Yes. Add an LED Sports Ticker above the bar and both use the same phone remote and the same favorite-team takeover, so every screen celebrates together when your team scores.
Where do you install it, and how fast can we try it?
We set up the channel for bars across Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana, and throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, with installs nationwide. We can usually test it on your system in about an hour.
